Police monthly neighbourhood drop-in meetings – message from the Wells Team and Engagement Officer:

Our Monthly online Neighbourhood Drop-In Sessions are open to all members of the public and provide an opportunity to raise concerns and ask questions about policing issues affecting North Norfolk. The sessions take place on the first Wednesday of each month. 

Upcoming sessions:

• Wednesday 2 September 2026 – 6:30pm to 7:30pm
• Wednesday 7 October 2026 – 6:30pm to 7:30pm
• Wednesday 4 November 2026 – 6:30pm to 7:30pm

A number of people have asked whether the sessions can be sent as a standard Teams calendar invitation. Whilst I appreciate the benefits of this, the invitations are distributed via a mailing list of around 270 contacts. To protect the privacy and personal data of everyone on the distribution list, invitations are sent using BCC and therefore cannot be distributed as a conventional Teams meeting invitation with attendee visibility and RSVP functionality.

As the sessions take place on the first Wednesday of every month and use the same recurring Teams link, you may find it helpful to create a recurring appointment in your own Outlook or Teams calendar and save the joining link within it. This will ensure the session automatically appears in your calendar each month and may make it easier to remember and access future meetings.

• Crimestoppers If you have information about crime but would prefer not to speak directly to the police, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via the Crimestoppers website. Crimestoppers is an independent charity and does not ask for your name or personal details.
